Most of us spend our lives trying to answer the question, “Who am I?” We build our identity around what we accomplish, how others see us, our relationships, our failures, our reputation, or the roles we fill. But anything powerful enough to give us an identity can also become something we have to constantly protect and prove.

In Christ, your identity is not achieved—it is received.

Jesus changes how we see ourselves and others. He reconciles us to God through the cross, makes us new creations, and gives us an identity that does not rise and fall with our successes and failures. And once we know whose we are, we begin to understand why we are here: to live as Christ’s ambassadors, carrying his message of reconciliation into the world.

Your best day does not make Jesus’ righteousness more complete.

Your worst day does not make Jesus’ righteousness less complete.

Jesus is enough.
